This project includes the replacement of the roofing system with a slate roof matching the existing; removal of hazardous materials; rehabilitation of gutters and installation of snow guards; minor exterior masonry work; window replacement or rehabilitation; general exterior finish rehabilitation and other requirements to make the roof off the second floor conference room a usable patio space.
The Campus House is a two-story brick Colonial Revival residence with a hip roof constructed in 1929. The building includes one-story wings on each end, one of which was originally the garage. In 2002 major interior renovations along with adding of the front vestibule was completed. The vestibule addition was reviewed and approved by SHPO. The first floor of the building contains a restaurant with dining areas served by a kitchen and support spaces. The building is used as a lab for two major Hospitality and Tourism courses. The second floor contains office and administration space, including a conference room.
